EXPERT TIPS

Following these simple tips will substantially increase your odds of being ready on the day of your test.

1. It is very important that you are toxin free for as long as possible before the day of your test. The longer you have been free of toxin exposure before the day of your test the better off you will be.  A minimum of 48 hours of toxin free time before the day of your test is highly recommended.

2. Water is a catalyst in the body for purification. Increasing your water consumption in the days before your test is very helpful for the cleansing process. HOWEVER, the day of your test is different as you will need to be careful not to drink too much water or you could run the risk of having your urine diluted.  Follow specific instructions on the detox packaging for the appropriate amount of water to consume on the day of your test.

3. What does Diluted mean?  When you provide your urine sample to the testing facility they have no idea if what you gave them was actually your urine.  There are only 2 things that they can tell about your urine at their laboratory no matter what kind of test they run.  Is the sample that you provided urine, and is it clean or dirty.  The only way that they can tell if your sample is really urine is by checking the creatine levels of the sample.  We all have the by-product of creatine, known as creatinine, in our urine from proteins we eat.  If you don’t consume very much protein on a daily basis or have consumed large amounts of liquid while pre-cleansing in the days before your test, you will have low levels of creatinine in your urine which may cause your test to come back as diluted.  We recommend that you purchase some creatine monohydrate and take it in the 2 days before you go in for your test.  Creatine can take 24-48 hours to properly absorb into your body so consuming it before the day of your test is important.  Creatine comes in a variety of forms such as powder, capsules, and premixed into sports and nutrition drinks, and it’s sold in every vitamin/nutrition or health food store in the world.

4. You should not eat any food before and after taking a detox product. Food will absorb the detox and make it less effective. It is recommended that you do not eat for at least 3 hours before or after taking your detox product. If you must eat, avoid foods that are heavy, greasy, or filling.

5. Once you take your Detox it is important for you to urinate. Your body has toxins in it and after taking the detox product your body will need to expel these toxins via urination. It takes most people at least 4 urinations after taking a detox product to remove the unwanted toxins from your body in order to be cleansed. And it takes most people about 60 to 90 minutes before they a can urinate 4 times. Once you have urinated at least 4 times your body will be cleansed and this cleansing effect will last for about 5 hours.

6. You should always catch midstream. If for some reason you still had toxins in your body they would be most prevalent in the beginning and the end of your urine stream. Always urinate for a few seconds before you fill up any sample.

7. You should take your Ice Caps 90 minutes before your drug test. You should take them on an empty stomach if possible. It takes 48 ounces of water to make the Ice Caps do their job. If you have 12 Ice Caps you should take the first packet of 4 caps with 16 ounces of water 90 minutes before your test. Wait 15 minutes and take the next packet of 4 capsules with another 16 ounces of water. Wait another 15 minutes and take the final packet of 4 capsules with 16 ounces of water. Urinate as much as possible, but you must urinate at least 4 times in order to ensure that there are no remaining toxins in your urine. If you have 8 Ice Caps from a Permanent kit you should the take the first packet of 4 capsules with 24 ounces of water 90 minutes before your test. Wait 15 minutes and take the other packet of 4 capsules with another 24 ounces of water. Urinate as much as possible, but you must urinate at least 4 times to ensure that there are no remaining toxins in your urine. Once You have urinated 4 times you should head to your test. Once you get to your test and are about to provide your sample, make sure you catch that sample in the middle of your urine stream.
